Vishwajeet + Jyotika : A Punjabi Wedding in Ludhiana

Brides The Groom Wedding
May 29, 2017

Wedding is usually the most memorable days of our lives. I can vouch for the fact that Vishwajeet and Jyotika’s big day is as uch memorable for me as it is for them. This goes back to all the planning sessions we did for their pre-wedding videos, which happened to be our first one, to the wedding day itself. I was entrusted to do render services for Vishwajeet’s side, and the day started with his getting ready moments. Most amazing thing is that Vishawjeet’s family is still a big giant joint family in today’s world where nuclear families are more common. Four generations of siblings still stay together , not only in India, but in Australia as well.

I just loved every minute of the event while I was behind the camera. I am not able to pick up one highlight of the day, because as the day progressed, there was something special going on. Each coming moment was better than the former. Anad Karaj was so serene , then when the pre-wed video was played , it was amazing aura all around, and it got played over and over again!  The doli was outright emotional.

The most special thing about the pre-wed video was the bonding and emotions of the couple. They are the sweetest and the most warm people you will ever meet.

The love that you see in the movies does exist! This couple makes it all believable.

I got a chance to shoot this lovely Sikh Wedding! Tejinder Singh & Kirandeep Kaur chose to hold a 'smagam' (religious congregation) for their big day. Giani Pinderpal Singh ji graced the occasion. Entire day went really well but We couldn't get a chance to do a photoshoot during the day as it was really hectic. But that one factor played in favour at the end as I decided to do it during the dusk! :)   Photo Story for the day

J + S. Ludhiana Wedding
Jaskaran and Suman. Usually I travel by car during weddings, but for this one I felt like my official ride was a cloud. Everything around this couple was so dreamy and uplifting... I can't even put everything into words! Bride and Groom's houses were near by, so I managed to capture both sides myself! :D There is a sad side to the story as well. Jaskaran's Grandma passed away few weeks after the wedding. I was deeply moved by this news and felt even more responsible in preserving someone's big day. God! What pictures could mean! I always knew this but ,you know, how reality hits you sometimes and your entire life changes? I actually 'fe ...
