PreetMan – Punjabi Wedding in Ludhiana

Brides The Groom Wedding
March 2, 2016

Shot in beautiful village Narangwal and Rara Sahib (District Ludhiana) area, this wedding is very special to me.

I was so happy to see old architect of the house preserved. I just love old buildings!

The band leader had amazing aura around him. I fondly shot many photos of the band.

Punjabi and Shahmukhi script reads, Dafedaar Channan Singh Pensioner. 1937.

Always lovely to see an old couple doing this together! <3

Baraat and the on-lookers

And some photo-bombing by the crew. Band had lovely formations, nonetheless.

Old and the new. Gadda and Gaddi 🙂

Jam-packed.

Baraat arrives at the party hall.

Opening doors to new life 🙂

let the party begin…

What goes around….

…comes back around! 😀

Secrets that you share on the dance floor
and the couple’s portraits begin with a very shy couple

beginning of a happy doli

Gurdas Mann, the living legend, graced the ocassion with his presence. There were very interesting dance performances by the guests. I'll give you ...

So much pressure is built around a Punjabi Groom with just this one statement by Baraatis, that the groom often gets ready waayyyy before everyone else and ends up spending an hour to a few, doing nothing! :D But this groom had sworn to God that come what may...He is not going to get bored on his BIG DAY! Photo essay goes like this ... :) Ah! That solace in twirling moustaches when you get your turban right in the first go! We decided to do a small photo session with these fine gentlemen." ...
