Memoirs of SurSingh – ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ

Non Commercial personal
December 1, 2015

This journal entry is a very close to heart personal entry , more than anything. On this day, we had the golden chance to visit SurSingh (Punjab, India) where descendants of a legendary GurSikh Baba BidhiChand ji reside. This very family is also heir of , subtle and tangible,  blessings of Guru HarGobind Ji. Treasure of Portraits of Guru HarGobind Ji, Guru Har Rai Ji and Baba Suraj Mal ji and Bhag Mal ji , authentic weapons of Guru HarGobind Ji, Guru Gobind Singh ji, Baba Bidhi Chand Ji, Baba Lal Chand Ji, Baba Daya Singh Ji,  and the priceless handwirtten manuscript lies with this blessed family. Every single soul that resides in the premises of this home is extraordinarily beautiful. I , alongwith my family, spent a spellbound day yesterday.  Manpreet Singh tried horse riding, which he did fairly well. Day was concluded with visit to Gurdwara Bhattha Sahib Ji (Patti), where Gyani Saroop Singh Ji lives. We were lucky enough to have blessed darshan of Baba Saroop Singh Ji’s son Nirmal Singh Ji and grandson Sooraj Partap Singh Ji. I can never thank Baba Narbir Singh Ji enough for making all this possible.

Cruel part of this whole trip was that I didn’t carry camera and took hold of one of Manpreet’s :p

I am not posting any photos of shastars and I didn’t click photos of portraits at all. I think that should be experienced in person. Akaal.

P.S. Dad you were missed.

“Baba Ji aa gaye!” 😀 This is one my most favourite moments. This super cute couple stood together for a photo and as soon as they saw Baba ji coming, they shied away 😀

Europe – Zeiss 55 1.8 Sonnar adventures
Some pictures from my recent visit to Italy , France and Germany. My traveler mode was ON and I took some very random shots. I didn't carry my bulky DSLRs with me and instead, I chose to travel with, and test my new Sony A7 with Zeiss 55 1.8. Last few pictures were shot with a Canon Mark III with a 24-105 on. Mostly, architecture and people caught my attention. Here I am sharing some photos. Harnav

Jyoti & SarMuhabbat : Memoirs of Melbourne
Ikk Munda... Jihda Naa Muhabbat... Lives in Melbourne city, and is blessed with an amazingly beautiful companion called 'Jyoti'.  Usually we have visual memories of people , but for this duo I have a permanent 'audio-visual' memory. Sarmuhabbat veer ji's picture has a heartfelt laughter sound attached to it, in my mind and Jyoti bhabi ji's picture in my mind has a very tender, caring and warm 'Veer ji' sound attached to it, as she lovingly calls me that. I had a very brief, informal, photo-session with this beautiful duo on the day I was  flying back home. I didn't have my lights or anything that day. But my target for the day was to make ...
