Jyoti & SarMuhabbat : Memoirs of Melbourne

Non Commercial personal
May 30, 2017

Ikk Munda… Jihda Naa Muhabbat… Lives in Melbourne city, and is blessed with an amazingly beautiful companion called ‘Jyoti’.  Usually we have visual memories of people , but for this duo I have a permanent ‘audio-visual’ memory. Sarmuhabbat veer ji’s picture has a heartfelt laughter sound attached to it, in my mind and Jyoti bhabi ji’s picture in my mind has a very tender, caring and warm ‘Veer ji’ sound attached to it, as she lovingly calls me that.

I had a very brief, informal, photo-session with this beautiful duo on the day I was  flying back home. I didn’t have my lights or anything that day. But my target for the day was to make atleast one photograph where Sarmuhabbat veer ji laughing hysterically, which is his most common expression, and Jyoti bhabi being indifferent to his jokes but still enjoying! 🙂 <3

Thank you for all the love and hospitality, guys!

And, last but not the least, Thanks to PreetInder veer ji, who made this connection possible 🙂

P.S. Why is this photoshoot more special? Because Sarmuhabbat and Jyoti are expecting a baby soon! 🙂

Europe – Zeiss 55 1.8 Sonnar adventures
Some pictures from my recent visit to Italy , France and Germany. My traveler mode was ON and I took some very random shots. I didn't carry my bulky DSLRs with me and instead, I chose to travel with, and test my new Sony A7 with Zeiss 55 1.8. Last few pictures were shot with a Canon Mark III with a 24-105 on. Mostly, architecture and people caught my attention. Here I am sharing some photos. Harnav

Organic Langar at our new Place :) – A House Party in Ludhiana
Sat Sri Akaal everyone! :) So the day we met GuruMustuk Singh from Sikhnet, we planned a dinner for him. Unfortunately, due to bad health GuruMustuk couldn't join in. But Ravneet Singh and Manpreet Singh's impromptu plan for the dinner to be an 'Organic Langar' turned to be great. So number of people joining in for organic langar grew from 5 to 15 in 5 secs, when everyone came to know the langar is going to be prepared by ace chef Satvir Kaur bhain ji! :D Me and Manpreet, at that point of time didn't know, that we were in for an awesome treat.   Long story short, boy! oh boy! I can only explain about taste of food by desi measur ...
