“Veere End ho Rakheya Bass” – MamKan2016 – A Punjabi Wedding in Patiala
Mamdeep loves talking and Kanwal loves listening. There were some challanges for the two to get together. I tried to cheer up Kanwal during her make-up session and she said "Laavan ho ke hi tension uttarni aa bass" (I am only going to be at peace after wedding ceremony) . Mamdeep said the same couple of times. And Boy! Once they entered into holy matrimony, they were on cloud 109!   If I have to describe this wedding and its entire experience for me, I would borrow Mamdeep's all time favourite quote " Veere End ho rakheya bass!" PreetMan – Punjabi Wedding in Ludhiana
Shot in beautiful village Narangwal and Rara Sahib (District Ludhiana) area, this wedding is very special to me. I was so happy to see old architect of the house preserved. I just love old buildings! The band leader had amazing aura around him. I fondly shot many photos of the band. Punjabi and Shahmukhi script reads, Dafedaar Channan Singh Pensioner. 1937. Always lovely to see an old couple doing this together! <3 Baraat and the on-lookers And some photo-bombing by the crew. Band had lovely formations, nonetheless. Old and the new.
